Mounted in the bridge position is an EMG 81 pickup - a potent humbucker that's favoured by many well-known heavy metal guitarists. The sound is tight, with heightened midrange and a powerful low-end presence that really makes your riffs hit home.
As if this wasn't enough, Jackson have also included an afterburner push/pull pot which provides an extra 20dB of gain at full rotation. This is perfect for those moments when you need to cut through the mix with a little extra power - whether that's during a solo or a heavy breakdown.
Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo
On top of its potent humbucker and extra gain boost, the Concept Series Rhoads RR24 is also equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo system. This top-mounted bridge provides you with absolute tuning stability, even during the most extreme whammy bar usage.
So whether you want to inject your solos with some added expression or simply need to drop your tuning a few steps for some heavier riffing, this Floyd Rose model has got you covered.
