Fitted with powerful Jackson high-output humbuckers, the JS2 Concert Bass provides tremendous low end at very high volume, without hum - perfect for rock and metal. Independent volume controls for the 2 pickups let you endlessly tweak your tone to suit your style.

Powerful riffs and shredding solos become second nature. Smooth playability and ultimate strength are provided by a graphite reinforced satin maple neck - while a Jackson HiMass bridge gives enhanced sustain and solid stability. And with a compound radius amaranth fretboard you can play both powerful basslines and fast lead lines easily as you move up and down the neck.

Immense low-end grunt

Push your sound to the max. Dual Jackson high-output humbucking bass pickups give you enough power to shake the room. The colossal low end provided by these pickups gives you a deep and fat bass sound with plenty of punch. They also have clear highs and a solid midrange – allowing you to cut through in a band. Their high-output humbucking design gives you all the volume you need whilst eliminating hum. This is especially useful when cranking up the gain or playing at loud volumes on stage, making them ideal for heavy rock and metal.

Lightweight and reliable construction

With a light and resonant poplar body, you can gig for hours without discomfort. Poplar provides a well-rounded, full bodied tone. And its lightness means you won’t break your back when you start rocking out on stage. A 1-piece maple neck gives this bass a snappy attack with plenty of cut to the sound. Graphite reinforcement adds extra strength and rigidity to the neck. Combined with the Jackson's HiMass bridge you get rock solid stability - even when giving it your all on stage.
