Mahogany Body

The Jackson PRO SL2 Soloist features a resonant mahogany body, along with a comfortable, double cutaway. With its comfortable contours, players can easily navigate the whole fingerboard and take advantage of the higher frets. A classic Jackson headstock is also included, and is carefully angled for optimum string tension.

Compound Radius Fingerboard

Like others in the Pro Series, the SL2 Soloist features Jackson's unique and innovative compound-radius fingerboard design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This design provides a smooth playability for both chords and riffs whilst the flattened heel allows sensational accessibility and speedy at the high register, perfect for both lead and rhythm players.

Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem Humbucking Pickups

The Jackson PRO SL2 Soloist is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem Humbucking pickups, located in the neck and bridge position. This incredible duo produces a highly balanced, flexible tone with a superb output, perfect for cleans and distortion. Players can tweak their tone further with the simple volume and tone controls, and 3-way toggle switch.

Floyd Rose Double-Locking Tremolo Bridge System

For added effect, the Jackson PRO SL2 Soloist is also equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge and R3 locking nut. This innovative system allows you to dive and soar, and bend your pitch with accurate intonation and stable tuning. This system is also recessed for pick hand comfort, and ideal for any level of player.
