The high-output Jackson pickups are designed to meet the demands of today's shredders, delivering full-bodied tone with plenty of bite and clarity. The bridge pickup is a humbucking pickup, perfect for brazen lead work and aggressive rhythm playing. The rail-style neck pickup adds versatility to the guitar's sound, allowing for dynamic clean tones and searing solos.
The Dinky® DK1A DX is built with the shredder in mind, featuring an ergonomic body shape and a compound-radius fingerboard. The nyatoh body's curved design ensures maximum comfort while playing and allows for effortless access to all 24 jumbo frets. The patented 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard is designed to gradually flatten out from the more rounded profile at the nut, making it perfect for chording and riffing near the nut, while providing optimal shred articulation and bending near the heel.
The bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint not only adds stability and durability, but also contributes to the guitar's overall tone and sustain. The tilt-back design of the scarf joint headstock increases tension behind the nut, eliminating the need for string trees or retainer bars.
The Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo system is a must-have for any metal guitarist. The recessed design allows for comfortable picking hand placement, while the zinc alloy saddles and sustain block contribute to the guitar's excellent tuning stability and long-lasting sustain. The double-locking mechanism of this bridge system also allows you to lock your guitar in tune at both the nut and the bridge, making it perfect for extreme tremolo use.
