Key Features
The Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 is a high spec shred machine. If you like a bit of attitude in your sound, then this is the guitar for you. Hosting a set of deadly active Seymour Duncan pickups, everything you play is going to be fuelled by their tight and aggressive tone. Even better, it can be shaped to your taste through its volume and tone controls, as well as a three-way switch. On any setting though, the RRX24's sonics are nothing short of crushing.
To match its devastating voice, the RRX24 boasts an ultra-fast and ultra-sleek playability. A meticulously carved, slim neck offers you rapid manoeuvrability across all twenty-four frets, and the fingerboard itself will make everything flow with ease. And if that hasn't got you excited for shredding, then the Floyd Rose locking tremolo certainly will. Divebombs, wild pitch bends, and fluttering vibratos all perform flawlessly. Change the way you play with this all-attitude guitar, the RRX24.

Tight, aggressive, and ripping. That's the tones you'll get from a pair of deadly Seymour Duncan Blackouts. Because they're active humbuckers, you're going to get tonnes of output, enough to drive any amp past the point of breakup for some gnarly tones. Not only that, but the active electronics also mean you'll get stunning clarity in your playing, even at high gain settings.
At the bridge is an AHB-1B, which delivers the massive crunch needed for a full-metal strike. Possessing ample cut and a clear articulation, it can easily keep up with rapid riffage, as well as handle those rumbling, guttural lows. If you like your drop-tunings, the Blackouts will handle them without breaking a sweat. The neck is tuned to go even deeper into the lower end, adding more presence to your notes for chunky rhythms, or extra body to your solos.
Massive note impact. Everything on the RRX24 is going to ring out with a colossal presence thanks to its many sustain-enhancing features. Firstly, those Seymour Duncan pickups are tremendously high in output, naturally increasing the length of your notes. But that's combines with a neck-through design and a stable Floyd Rose bridge. In unison, these components create a sonorous, powerful voice that's perfect for adding an extra gut-punch to your songs.
Expert playability. Built for the shredders and virtuoso players, this maple neck will help any guitarist reach new heights of technical skills. That's thanks to its ultra-slim and slick feel, which affords your fingers loads of room along the fingerboard. As it’s so sleek, you can change position at a lightning pace, enabling you to dart around the board for those demanding solos.
Hosting a laurel fingerboard in a compound radius, you'll find anything you want to play is fluid and effortless. Featuring a sharper curve nearer the nut, complex chords become a breeze to execute. As you move up the fingerboard, this curve flattens out, allowing for expansive solos and extreme pitch bends. Teamed with jumbo sized frets, those pitch bends can go as far as you like without choking.
Rule the stage. What sizzling solo isn't made any better by some adventurous whammy bar? To prove this point, the RRX24 features an exceptional Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge. Wicked divebombs and tremulous flutters are easy to draw out, and this spectacular bridge does it in style. Don't be afraid of overusing the whammy bar, because the locking nut and excellent engineering of this bridge mean your tuning will be stable throughout the whole set.
