Key Features
The Jackson SDX MN Adrian Smith Signature is here to grant you total control over your riffs. Featuring a bevvy of high spec hardware at an exceptionally affordable price, you'll be performing Smith's rapid licks and technical tricks without a second thought. And not only that, but you'll be granted his iconic sound through a set of Jackson tuned pickups. They're high in output, versatile and ferocious in their sonics. Set in a HSS layout, you can employ a wide variety of tones to suit your needs.
But it's more than just the sound. It's also tough enough to stand up to your highest energy performances thanks to its graphite reinforced neck, so you know it's ready for the road. More than that, the fretboard is a compound radius to make everything from chords to mind blowing solos a breeze to play. And speaking of solos, what better way to make them stand out than with a Floyd Rose tremolo system? This extra reliable vibrato lets you add whammy bar flourish with no impact on your tuning, so you can keep the audience's eyes locked on you.

Humbuckers and single coils. Adrian Smith's signature model uses both to get a full dynamic range for whatever you want to play. Tuned by Jackson to match Smith's high output energy, these pickups are searing hot, ready to deliver gain with maximum ferocity. In the bridge sits the mighty humbucker, it's warm, powerful and will roar out aggressive riffs with force. It's your key to the biting metal cut often found in Maiden and other's styles.
Apart from the humbucker, there's a middle position and neck position single coil to take advantage of. Crisp, sparkling and twangy, they're voiced with the fine chime of single coils. The neck position is rich with bassy low-end, bringing an even fatter tone to beef up your songs, or provide contrast to an often sharp metal mix. Set them on clean channels and be amazed by their clarity...whether it's light jazz or doom metal, they'll give you the definition to be heard.
Shred like Smith. The fretboard is where the magic happens, and where your licks will shine. For a virtuoso player like Adrian, only the best will suffice. The Jackson SDX features a one-piece maple neck and fretboard that's reinforced by graphite rods, which offer stiffness and stability, whilst guarding against temperature and humidity-induced warping. For speedy playing and effortless soloing, that neck is built in a compound radius, so you've got easy chording near the headstock but a flatter surface higher up for expressive leads. Combined with its jumbo fret size, you can pitch bend with ease.
There's times when normal pitch bends and vibratos just aren't enough, when they need to be elevated by the something extra. A licensed Floyd Rose tremolo is that something extra. It'll provide exhilarating dynamics, letting you divebomb like a meteor, or infuse tremulous vibes to your notes. What's more, there's the locking nut that'll keep your tuning pitch perfect during use. Jackson have given you every reason to inject some whammy madness into your vocabulary, so excite your audience!
