Alongside its basswood top and body, the jumbo acoustic by Gear4music offers an an Okoume neck topped with a thermally treated poplar laminate fretboard. Thermally treated poplar laminate is an environmentally friendly material made using laminations of wood which are bonded together in resin, making the neck ultra-stable. The stability of poplar laminate helps keep your guitar in tune - particularly in situations with quick changes in temperature or humidity.
