The distortion provided by the Laney Blackheath can be completely adjusted for the perfect performance. Easily switch between a crushing, aggressive distortion, and subtle rumbles that add colour to clean tones, this pedal is the perfect seasoning to any bassline, for any genre. This is all achieved by four tonal knobs that allow for easy adjustment of the tone. The gain dial controls the intensity of the distortion, whilst the range dial adjusts the low end, either letting it rumble, or dampening it for a punchy tone. The colour dial does the opposite, adjusting the high frequency of the signal, whilst the volume controls the level outputted.
