The Line 6 Powercab is a unique active speaker system that delivers an authentic amp-in-the-room performance when paired with modelers, profilers, or amp-simulation pedals. Using new technology developed by Line 6, players can essentially load a different speaker type into the 1x12'' speaker cab with the push of a button. The addition of a flat mode provides the Powercab 112 with a natural frequency response with plenty of headroom, making it ideal for connecting modelers to produce your own unique sound.
To ensure the Line 6 Active Speaker System can deliver its extensive range of tonal possibilities, Line 6 added a custom-made speaker setup, ensuring players receive a truly versatile performance. Its single 12’’ custom hybrid coaxial speaker is accompanied by a lightweight cone and high-temperature 2’’ voice coil, ensuring the amp delivers the punch and dynamic response of a classic guitar amp with the extended range of a PA speaker, adding unparalleled sound and response to any performance.
