To faithfully recreate John Mayer's exceptional tone, this Custom Artist model sports a solid Engelmann spruce top combined with East Indian rosewood back and sides. This tonewood combination not only looks brilliant but also offers excellent projection with enhanced sonic fidelity.
Engelmann spruce's abundant clarity and top-end detail is enhanced by Martin's industry leading scalloped X-bracing pattern, giving you ample volume and power to drive your chords and melodies. The treble focussed spruce is counterbalanced beautifully by solid rosewood to imbue every note with warmth and body.
