The Music Man Majesty 7 String is the signature model of Dream Theater’s John Petrucci, delivering all of the speed, precision, and power that he needs for his powerful progressive metal riffs. This guitar boasts a neck-through-body design for superior balance and easy access to all 24 stainless steel frets, so you an play the full range of its ebony fretboard smoothly and effortlessly.
The Majesty comes loaded with Petrucci’s custom DiMarzio Dreamcatcher bridge and Rainmaker neck pickups, offering an organic and complex sound that is perfect for heavy rhythms, searing solos, or riffs that leap up and down the neck. Paired with the extended range of its extra seventh string, this version gives you access to even lower low frequencies.
Its advanced switching system ensures seamless transitions between tones, offering series and parallel switching with the option for both full humbuckers or dual split-coils in middle position. All of this is reinforced by a custom Music Man active preamp for an extra gain boost at will, and a Fishman Powerbridge piezo pickup underneath the custom floating tremolo for acoustic-like tones to add an extra dimension of tonal versatility.
