The Kongpressor is an analogue Class A compression pedal, inspired by some of the most legendary optical studio units and delivers an organic three dimensional quality to any rig, and adds extra depth to your tone. This versatile compressor pedal is packed full of features, that will give your tone a memorable character. When used at lower compression levels, players can achieve a fattening, transparent effect that will become a permanent addition to your tone. Even when used at extreme settings, the Kongpressor provides a superb tone with a great feel.
Controls
Players can easily fine tune the Kongpressor for the perfect transients and bloom with control options for Volume, Squash, Release, Attack and Chime. For added boost, this compressor pedal offers up to 12dB of clean boost with the volume control, perfect for adding impact to solos and main riffs. An active treble is also included, and offers extra chime and jangle for an even more transparent compression.
Internal Charge Pump
The Kongpressor is also equipped with an internal charge pump which doubles the operating voltage of the pedal to 18V, for increased headroom and a super clean compression. Like other pedal from Orange, the Kongpressor can be powered by 9V battery or standard DC adapter (sold separately).
Transparent Buffered Bypass
Featuring a transparent buffered bypass, the Kongpressor cleverly retains the guitar’s upper harmonic content when the pedal is switched off, for a clean sound that is true to the original.
