The original Rockerverb gathered loyal users thanks to its iconic high gain tones. This model continues this tradition, but with immense flexibility. It comes designed with two channels, the dirty and clean channel. Its dirty channel can deliver tones from the classic British crunch, to the heaviest of modern genres, whilst maintaining its outstanding, shining clarity.
The clean channel is able to take on a sparkly and crisp nature with greater control due to the re-voiced two-band EQ. The MKIIIs offer an even greater headroom and volume in full power mode, but can be manipulated with the amplifier’s output power and Attenuator controls.
The Attenuator circuit is located after the master volume controls and determines when and how the amplifier distorts after the preamp stage. This ensures the overall level can be reduced, whilst you maintain the control over the amp’s output clipping characteristics. Unlike a loadbox, this model ensures the all-important relationship between the output transformer and the speaker. Even at low volumes, the amp remains springy and responsive. Simply turn the Attenuator clockwise and reduce your output level for a lead line volume boost.
Driven by a singular 12AT7/ECC81 valve and a custom transformer, this model has a spring reverb circuit which has undergone upgrades to its predecessors. It is the richest sounding spring reverb design to date, with a more intuitive and usable sweep, ranging from subtle ‘air’ to full-on surf. It doesn’t get better than this.
Switching the output of this model is effortless and allows for more headroom and breakup from the output valves. Reduce output and valve clipping/saturation at lower lessons. The Rockerverb comes designed with a half power mode, allowing you to drop the plate voltage on the output valves. Additionally, this model also has a highly transparent effects loop, which is buffered by a single 12AAT7 valve, ensuring an all valve signal path from input to output.
Any electrical items in your order may have been designed to work with a 240V circuit, using a United Kingdom G type plug connection or a 220V circuit, using an EU plug connection. An adapter or transformer may be required for these items to work properly and safely in your country. Some items work with a range of voltages, or have a switchable voltage control built in.
