Head turning tones
This model comes equipped with two DGT 'S' pickups, which produce striking tones that are guaranteed head turners. The addition of these pickups infuses your guitar with a rich, smooth, harmonically perfect sound. Paired alongside these humbuckers are a range of controls that allow you to test and tweak your tone in order to find your desired sound. Onboard are two volume controls, a push/pull tone, and a 3-way toggle pickup. Switch between the bridge and neck pickups for a versatile performance. Unleash your creativity.
The finest selection of materials
PRS always select the perfect tonewoods that perfectly complement the guitar's style and sound. Its body has been sculpted from mahogany, which delivers a beautifully smooth, warm, rich, and well-sustained tone. This has been topped with maple, which adds a bright, loud, and transparent overtone. Mahogany has once again been selected for the neck and been topped with a rosewood fingerboard, which is commonly used thanks to its softness, as well as it's resonant sound. When combined, these materials complement the pickups perfectly.
A guitar icon in the industry
After moving to Austin, David Grissom joined the iconic Joe Ely's band. Since then, he was worked with a range of icons including John Mellencamp, the Allman Brothers, Robben Ford, and even the legendary Beatle, Ringo Starr. He has featured on a range of records, adding his own unique flair and style to artists' instrumentals. Alongside working with others in the industry, Grissom has created his own tracks, performed live, and has designed signature guitars and amplifiers with PRS. With the DGT, you too can discover your sound and showcase your talents.
