The source of your tone. A Schecter Diamond '78 Special in the bridge and Schecter Diamond '78 make for a volcanic sound. Offering plenty of heat, they deliver a high output tone which has a strong midrange response and savage bite – especially with the gain turned up. But they're also dynamic. They'll make clean tones chime like a bell, whilst the coil split button allows you to create a more vintage single coil sound.
The bridge pickup is punchy and powerful, bringing your notes a voicing which pummels through any mix. You'll be able to give your chords and riffs sharp definition. And the neck pickup offers even more tone to play with. Rich, smooth, and saturated, you can make those notes wail with this powerhouse. Together, these pickups will drive your sound to perfection.

It's a rewarding neck. Made from roasted maple and purpleheart, it will let you express yourself with ease all the way along the fretboard. Crafted to a thin 'C' profile, your hand will fit around it naturally, and you'll find that manoeuvrability is impeccable as a result.
