Schecter Omen Elite-8 MS, Charcoal Overview
The Schecter Omen Elite-8 MS is an aggressive and highly expressive guitar, which achieves a huge overdriven metal sound and offers additional creative options through its 7-string design. A shredding machine, the Omen Elite-8 is equipped with two of Schecter's Diamond Heretic pickups which produce a gloriously aggressive open coil sound that is perfect for high outputs. The premium hipshot multiscale bridge allows for adjustable scale lengths across the 8 strings. It works with the graph tech nut and Schecter own-build tuners to hold a comfortable action and keep your strings in tune for longer, so you can rock right on through the night.
Featuring a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, you'll be guaranteed a highly comfortable experience which is built to last. The maple brings a brightness to the tone that will complement the well-defined low end of the pickups and warmth of the mahogany body. The neck is designed and built in the thin 'C' shape, which allows you maximum reach over the strings with minimum strain - and the bolt-on construction ensures that this high quality build guitar will stick with you for a long time.

Complete with the Heretic Diamond pickups, the Omen Elite-8 boasts a high octane, high-output sound that will reward distorted aggression time and time again. Schecter’s own variation of the Apocalypse pickups, they're equipped with two ceramic 8 magnets and surrounded by a respective Alnico V magnet in each pickup. Full of bite and bark, they'll squeal at the high end while offering a full-bodied mid-range and tight, articulate lows. Ideally paired with various kinds of distorted and overdriven effects, the Heretic Diamonds are tonally well-balanced despite their energetic sound, and will deliver classic metal harmonics which can be reshaped time and time again to fit your taste.

This Schecter Omen Elite-8 also features a rigid and durable Hipshot multiscale 7-string bridge, which provides a glorious amount of resonance and sustain and enables you to adjust the scale length to your exact specifications so you can find the sound you want and stay in tune for longer. Manufactured from a single piece of brass, this high-quality design bridge will easily eliminate any annoying side to side movement of the stainless-steel saddles. The alternative one-piece build provides a more comfortable feel against the hand than the traditional single-string multi-scale bridges due to the smoother top – contributing to the comfort of the overall playing experience.
With a thin “C” bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, you’ll be guaranteed smooth and comfortable playability.
