The Orleans Studio Acoustic Guitar features a top made from cedar, and back and side panels crafted from high quality mahogany. The cedar top provides beautifully sweet, warm tones with plenty of complexity to suit a range of musical styles. With a high overtone to fundamental ratio, the cedar tonewood provides a lot of character that’s perfect for fingerpickers. With mahogany used for the back and side panels, the guitar produces warm, soft tones with a good balance of grind and bite where needed. Offering plenty of depth and punch to the guitars tone, the mahogany helps to emphasise the Schecter’s midrange, providing a dark tone.
The mahogany neck produces a fat, warm tone with a mellow feel whilst also offering an incredible sustain. The rosewood fingerboard adds to the guitar's warmth whilst softening up the sound and giving it a natural feel. The mahogany and rosewood combination offers complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange.
The Schecter guitar features Fishman electrons, with an Isys+ on-board preamp system and sonicore piezo pickup. The pickup is designed to capture the pure tone of the acoustic guitar, recreating the natural sounds when played through an amplifier. The Isys+ system offers controls over the tone, allowing you to shape the guitar's sound without the need for an external preamp system. With controls for bass and treble, the system also comes with a built-in tuner to keep the guitar in tune, no matter where you are.
Schecter is one of the world's premier guitar companies, creating and selling electric guitars and basses, acoustic guitars and USA Custom Shop instruments to musicians around the world.
