The perfect marriage for modern players looking for a classic, vintage shape with the ability to meet the low-tuning demands of modern metal, the PT EX lets you access drop tunings without sacrificing tone or playability. The additional scale length ensures that you can fit traditional string gauges without needing to buy extremely expensive custom sets, whilst maintaining all of the tension of a traditional 6-string in standard tunings! The result is a riff machine that feels comfortable and conventional, whilst being able to keep up with 7 or even 8 string tunings for ultra-low, modern metal riffing.

All of this is sat on an extremely comfortable modern thin "C" shaped neck profile, meaning the size of the scale will not feel big in the hands, making it easy to wrap your hands around for all manner of different playing styles.

Schecter locking tuners help keep you perfectly in tune, regardless of how hard you strum, paired with a self-lubricating Black Tusq nut that keeps your strings intonated and perfectly in place all while delivering a bright and articulate string tone. The sanded neck finish is ideal for fast playing and a streamlined control system of 1 x Tone 1 x Volume and a three-way pickup switching keeps things simple to help you focus on your playing.
