Mahogany Body with a Quilted Maple Top

The Stiletto Extreme has a body constructed from high quality Mahogany, with a Quilted Maple top, producing powerful tones that can keep up with anything. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood offers the bass excellent amounts of depth and helps provide an incredible sustain. The bass also features Schecter’s Diamond bass bridge, black chrome hardware, crème binding, and a black cherry finish that shows off the natural figuring of the Maple.

Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard

The bolt-on Maple neck provides some tightness and cut to the bass’s tone, delivering an edge of sizzle to the highs and firmness to its lows. The Maple wood provides bright characteristics to the overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. Adding a Rosewood fingerboard helps to fur up to the Maple’s sound, whilst contributing to its smoothness. The Rosewood/Maple combination brings warmth to the guitars tone, adding sparkle to the highs, thickness to the lows, and opens up the mids. The bass guitar also comes with many other features, including Schecter tuners, a Graph tech nut, and pearloid/abalone vector inlays on the fretboard.

Schecter Diamond Bass Pickups

With a set of Schecter’s Diamond bass pickups, the Stiletto becomes an incredibly versatile instrument, offing a wide tonal range that can play anything from jazz and blues, to hard rock and metal. Designed with ceramic magnets, the Diamond bass pickups produce a thick, punchy tone that pushes out the fatter bass tones of the wood. With its dual-coil design, the pickups offer low noise, high output, and a powerful low end. The Schecter also features a 2-band EQ with controls over the bass and treble, allowing the bass to be shaped to best suit your playing style.
