Ebony back and sides deliver an overall bright tone, with good sustain. The ebony brings excellent clarity, as well as a stunningly deep and dark appearance. Topped with solid spruce, the Snail BHC-5T offers a broad dynamic range with good resonance and an open midrange. Overall the BHC-5T Tenor ukulele provides a bright, sparkling tone with good definition and focus.
The tenor size ukulele is slightly bigger than the concert, and produces an even deeper and fuller tone. Due to its larger size, the tenor ukulele is more comfortable and typically more convenient for larger players. The tenor ukulele also has more frets due to the longer scale length, which provides the player with more sonic possibilities.
Featuring a maple neck and ebony fingerboard, the Snail BHC-5T provides smooth and fast playability. The maple neck offers good sustain and energetic play, whilst the ebony fingerboard offers clear articulation.
