The Squier Classic Vibe Stratocaster is based on Fender's guitars from the '60s. As such, it features an alder body with maple neck for a wonderful combination of brightness and resonance. The guitar is finished in a classic 3-tone sunburst while the 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard gives the look of a vintage instrument. The neck features a vintage-tint and a gloss finish for an aged and polished aesthetic. The plastics have also been 'aged' with a lovely off-white colour, giving the impression of having been played-in for many years.

Smooth Playability

The Classic Vibe Stratocaster features a mix of old and new playing specifications. The neck is carved with a '60s-inspired "C"-shaped profile for easy reach over all 6-strings. The fingerboard has a more modern 9.5'' radius with medium jumbo frets - this combination provides a comfortable feel for chordal playing with a fast feel for soloing, being flatter than vintage Fender guitars (around 7'') but rounder than 'shredder' guitars (12'' and above).  The Stratocaster's iconic double cutaway body gives easy access to the top end of the neck, so you'll be able to perform solos right at the top of the fingerboard. The Stratocaster is renowned as being a comfortable instrument to play, and the body features a tummy-cut and forearm-cut to enable a smooth playing feel whether sat down or stood up.

Classic Hardware

The Classic Vibe Stratocaster is spec'd with a vintage-style tremolo with 6-saddle blocks; this gives you the capability of creating pitch-shifting effects on single notes and chords for a more expressive performance. The 6 individual saddles also enable perfect action and intonation adjustments for every string.The 6 vintage-style machineheads provide quick and accurate tuning with great stability for longer playing sessions.

Iconic Stratocaster Tones

The Classic Vibe Strat is loaded with 3 x Custom Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat pickups. These give you a low/medium output and are ideal for creating a sound with sparkle and nuance, bringing out every detail of your playing. The pickups are wired with a 5-way switch that gives the option between biting bridge-position sounds, warm and mellow neck-position tones, and all the "in-between" sounds, with their distinct "quack" and bell-like overtones. Whether you're looking for a rock sound with a raucous brightness, a clean funky sound for chordal strumming, a twangy sound for country licks, or a thick blues tone, you'll find it all and more with the Classic Vibe Stratocaster.
