The Squier FSR Classic Vibe Bass VI is a throwback to one of Fender's most distinctive and experimental instruments. Tuned an octave below a standard guitar, it blends the feel of a six-string with the deep, rich voice of a bass, letting you unleash the ultimate expressive playing. Finished in Burgundy Mist with a tortoiseshell pickguard, it nails vintage style with modern reliability.
Fender-designed alnico single-coils deliver punchy, articulate tone across all three pickups, with individual slide switches and a bass-cut strangle switch offering loads of sonic flexibility. A slim C-shaped neck, 9.5" radius fingerboard and vintage-style tremolo make it both comfortable and expressive.

The Squier FSR Classic Vibe Bass VI captures the retro look and feel of the original 1960s model with stunning accuracy. Finished in Burgundy Mist and paired with a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, it’s loaded with era-accurate touches like aged white pickup covers, block inlays, and a vintage-tint gloss neck. It's a striking instrument with a real old-school vibe.
This Bass VI is tuned an octave below standard guitar tuning, giving you the extended low end of a bass with the string layout and feel of a six-string. It’s the perfect tool for adding depth to recordings, exploring alternate textures, or creating low-end melodies with a more guitar-like feel than traditional basses.
A slim “C”-shaped neck and 9.5" fingerboard radius make this bass incredibly easy to play, especially if you're coming from a standard guitar. Narrow tall frets enhance note clarity and articulation, while the Indian Laurel fingerboard adds a smooth feel to your fretting hand for comfortable chord work and lead lines alike.
Three Fender-designed alnico pickups offer a wide range of tonal options, with dedicated on/off slide switches for each one. A bass-cut “strangle” switch lets you tighten up the low end for a punchier sound, ideal for layering in the studio or cutting through a dense mix. You can easily dial in warm lows or crisp highs to suit your sound.
