Key Features
This is not a synth pedal, This is not a reverb pedal. The Strymon Night Sky Time Warped Reverberator is simultaneously both, neither and so much more. It sends your strums and twangs on audio expeditions through time and space with destinations as diverse as your imagination allows. Pulsating patterns and show-stopping swells are just a push, pull or turn away with a powerful onboard eight-step sequencer and the Night Sky's ingenious 'Morph' feature.
From high-end wash and full-bodied fundamentals to octaves, intervals and dynamic overdrive, hack into your harmonics using the extensive Voice section. The Time Warped Reverberator's unprecedented versatility provides inspiration on tap, with 16 presets easily accessible from the front panel to get you started. Synth-savvy guitarists will find many features you'd expect from a standard synthesis control section, with a waveform shape select button, decay controls, and a dedicated filter section.
Likewise, regular Strymon users will find familiar features like a quick-access 'Favourite' footswitch, and their signature secondary parameters, giving each knob and button a dual function and expanding the Night Sky's sonic palette further still. For ambient, experimental, and sound design (or any guitar application that needs a little space-time spice) the Strymon Night Sky is a cosmic companion you won't want to miss.

The connectivity options offered on the Strymon Night Sky are nothing short of monumental. But each connection is carefully designed with a specific creative purpose in mind. In particular, the MIDI integration (available via 5-pin DIN, USB or the Strymon MIDI Exp cable (sold separately)) opens a universe of sonic selections, with 300 preset locations and every parameter fully programmable. Plug an expression pedal into the Exp jack for simultaneous, fluid control through the full range of any number of the Night Sky's features. Or swap to Strymon's Multi-Switch Plus (sold separately) for a range of intelligent preset selection options.
...One giant step for reverb. Adjust the Size/Pitch setting of your reverb with each of the 8 individual steps, then set the variable time glide to dial in the smoothness of the shifts. Create moody melodies by quantizing each pitch in semitone increments or to a chosen musical scale. Or switch to free-tuning mode for ethereal microtonal movements. Each step can be easily disengaged with a dedicated button, or flip through each individually using the On/Sequence Step footswitch button to move through tonal changes at will.
Freeze! The Night Sky's Infinity footswitch freezes the incoming signal to create dense, luscious pad sounds, ripe for shaping with the pedal's modulation features. One inventive way to use this feature is to use your self-oscillating guitar bed to create a footswitchable chord sequence. This can be done with ease by adjusting the note for each sequence step and tapping through them with your foot.
