Product Ref: 189413
Want to craft your sound with pinpoint precision? Your wish is Strymon's command! There's an array of controls for you to tweak to your liking, so that you can create the perfect effect. But first, you can select between the 4-stage and 6-stage footswitches, each of which has its own set of control dials - with each dial having a different effect in each section. For example, towards the end of the Voice range in the 6-stage mode, the LFO morphs from a smooth triangle into a warped shape - in the 4-stage mode the Voice dial is replaced by a Mix dial, which affects intensity. In general, the 4-stage encompasses more classic tones, ranging from phasing to vibrato, whereas the 6-stage unlocks flanging and chorus.
Using the control dials, you can easily manipulate each mode. Speed and Depth alter the intensity and atmosphere in both 4-stage and 6-stage. There's also a Sweep switch and resonance switch for selecting yet another parameter to control in each mode. You simply won't believe how many different voicings this pedal can create until you've heard it for yourself.
Want to beef up your sound to make it a soundscape? Simply switch to stereo mode on this beauty and you can do so in an instant. It can even receive a mono input and split it to stereo, further expanding your rig options. In addition, an adjustable input level switch allows you to set this pedal up for both instrument and line level signals, whilst you can also choose between true and buffered bypass. This is another Strymon masterpiece.
