Love Hawaiian koa? It's stunning to look at, and just as stunning to listen to. The Taylor DLX K has a solid Hawaiian koa top for a focused, bright sound that gets better with age. And, the more you play this exquisite solid top, the more its tone opens up. Resulting in a sweeter, richer, and beautifully resonant tone. Laminated, layered koa makes up the back and sides of the 224ce. Balanced and defined by tone, and resilient to climate change. Laminated tonewoods are less likely to warp within different environments. Making it perfect for life on the road and much more.

A powerful sonic engine. The 224ce DLX K has scalloped, forward-shifted X-bracing made from sitka spruce. Bringing you added versatility whilst giving the Taylor DLX K a big, rich, and distinctive acoustic voice. A key part of the 224ce's sound comes from within, and with forward-shifted X-bracing the tonewoods vibrate naturally. This creates sonic depth and complexity with superior volume and projection. The Expression System 2 combined with Taylor's 'professional audio' preamp allows you to simply plug-in to an amplifier, PA system or directly into recording software. Furthermore, the 224ce DLX also features three soft-touch rotary controls, allowing you to accurately shape your amplified tone with ease. Furthermore, these discreet controls are also easy to use and by rotating the controls back and forth.
