American Alder Body

The Vintage Reissued V52 has a body crafted from American Alder to give the guitar a strong, full bodied sound with an incredibly clear feel. The body provides the Vintage with an excellent sustain, letting the tones ring out and decay naturally. The guitar’s high end comes across as sizzling, while the midrange sounds beefy and the low end sounding dynamic.

Maple Neck and Fingerboard

The Maple neck and fingerboard work together to provide some tightness and cut to the guitars overall tone. The Maple wood delivers bright characteristics to give the vintage a nice, light sound, perfect for playing blues and Jazz. The wood’s high end comes across as sizzling, and its low end sounds firm, giving the midrange a snappy attack. When the strings are hit hard, the Maple neck gives the guitar a punchy, gnarling sound, and with medium to light playing, the guitar offers excellent clarity.

Wilkinson Pickups

Featuring a set of Wilkinson single coil pickups, the Vintage produces the classic ‘twang’ of a Tele, perfect for playing a range of musical styles. In the Bridge position is the WVOB, offering 50’s style vibrant rock and roll tones with a hint of a dry bite, perfect for creating classically authentic tones. The neck position features the WVTN, designed with alnico V magnets that deliver the classic ‘twang’ sound, perfect for playing country, and blues, to rock and Jazz.

Wilkinson WTB Intonatable Bridge

The Wilkinson’s WTB intonatable bridge features the classic 3-saddle design with staggered brass saddles to allow individual string intonations. With the ability to change the intonation of each string, the Vintage allows you to change the pitch of your strings to provide the perfect sound from each string. The baseplate faithfully reproduces the original design, and is constructed out of steel to give the bridge pickup the best sound.
