Each driver consists of an ultra-lightweight statically-charged diaphragm suspended between two conductive plates. When the signal hits the conductive plates, the diaphragm is pushed and pulled. The result? Distortion-free audio with the most astounding accuracy and definition.

The ultimate choice for audiophiles and music lovers on the go. As the second in Shure's line of electrostatic listening systems, the KSE1200 features a new, more compact amplifier design. A design that delivers the best possible performance in an ultra-portable format.

Fitting perfectly in the palm of your hand, the amplifier is ergonomic, sleek, and incredibly robust. A knurled volume knob that doubles as an on/off switch gives a satisfying tactile response and simple signal control. The earphones connect to the amp with Shure's robust 6-pin LEMO connector, whilst a high-performance 3.5mm analog input connects to your playback source.

The amp boasts an in-built Li-Ion battery. This can be charged via the micro USB-B port, with a 3-hour charge at 1A giving you up to 12 hours of un-interrupted playback. You can also secure the amp to your playback device using the provided rubber security bands. Two 3.5mm cables are included (6'' long, and 36'' long) for patching the amp across to your media player. This sleek little black amp is easy to use and is specially optimised for the KSE1200 Electrostatic Earphones.
