The Casio PX-S7000 is the premium model of the Casio Privia line of digital pianos. The S7000 represents a return to the drawing board with a brand new design language adopted to make the latest Privia pianos have a modern aesthetic that sets them apart from any other digital pianos. The S7000 has a sleek, minimal design that will look at home in any contemporary living space. Casio has not only been working on the looks of this instrument too, but they've also been working on the sound and playing experience as well to deliver a hugely refined instrument.
Casio has improved the feeling of the keys and the hammer action as well as the sound. New piano sounds have been added for more advanced sounds. With the help of the Casio Music Space app, you can edit and customise the tones in the piano to the best one for your performance. The in-built effects for reverb and hall simulation will further enhance your playing experience and will make headphone practice an immersive experience. This piano is certainly one of the most modern-looking and functioning pianos around.

The Privia PX-S7000 has been designed on the "in harmony with life" concept which strives to achieve harmony between modern lifestyles and technology to deliver the best looking, feeling and sounding piano you can get. The design is crafted to enable musicians to play music on their own terms, with their own unique perspectives and experiences on music mattering the most. The piano is designed to fit in anywhere. Pianos historically have had to be placed against a wall for the best placement in a home. With the PX-S7000's design, you can now place this virtually anywhere in your home. Whether it is against or near a wall, the centre of a room or on a table the PX-S7000 will look well suited to its location. You can even set the piano to alter its own acoustic profile so it makes the most of its location.
The PX-S7000 has a unique and eye-catching design for the integrated pedal unit in the stand - not something that has been seen before on an electric piano before. The music stand is clear and acrylic - allowing the stand to be less visually intrusive in your space. The speaker fabric on the back, a unique and attractive design feature in itself, comes in multiple colours that are designed to match the colour of the piano. These design features and more are why this piano can be placed anywhere in your living space. It looks so good from any angle that it is a shame to cover up any part of it.
Piano players can often tell a great digital piano from how well it feels. The art of designing digital piano actions is a complex one in which the tiniest details can matter. This is why the keys, mainly made of resin, have been finished with wooden panels so even from the first touch, the key will feel natural. The action improves on the action seen in other Privia pianos. The weighting is scaled on individual keys - lower keys will feel heavier to simulate the heavier hammers in an acoustic piano. This further enhances the natural feel that many pianists will love.
The PX-S7000 comes with a comprehensive selection of sounds, including nine meticulously sampled and simulated grand piano sounds. Each piano uses Casio's Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator (AiR) sound source to capture and reproduce the sound of an acoustic piano. The piano also simulates the sound of strings resonating slightly within the body of an acoustic piano, this adds depth to your sound and when combined with the reverb and hall simulations can really make it feel as if you're really playing an acoustic piano in a concert hall.
The PX-S7000, with the included Bluetooth adaptor, can connect to your phone with the Casio music space app for even more functionality. This app will allow you to access new possibilities with your Casio product whatever your playing ability. It can be used as a learning aid with a vast library of songs which you can play along with. Each note and its duration is shown visually in a piano roll making it easy to find the right notes and see how a piece of music is written. If you're more confident with reading music then you can try out the score mode - use the inbuilt scores or import your own to play along with! Page turns can be done with a pedal so you can focus entirely on your reading and playing.
A live concert simulator will simulate the reverb of a real concert space with several different settings to make you feel like you're performing in a wide variety of concert venues. You can also now access your digital piano or keyboard's settings quickly and easily with the app. No more remembering key and button combinations to alter settings - you can now change them in an easy-to-use and visual menu included in Casio Music Space. This app is available for free and more information can be found here.
