Extremely compact. The DP-7 piano is only 330mm deep, thanks to its sleek cabinet design. Its fold-down lid and music rest shuts flat, so it takes up less space when not in use. Useful if space is at a premium. What's more, the sturdy wooden stand is lightweight and portable, and easily blends into any room.
An authentic playing experience, with 88 hammer action keys. It provides an improved feel as you play – very similar to an acoustic piano. This is complemented touch sensitivity, so every note you play is fully expressive. You can get a soft, gentle sound all the way through to something loud and 'fortissimo'.
To play a wide range of music, the DP-7 includes three pedals – soft, sostenuto and sustain. The soft pedal (also known as Una Corda) provides a quieter, mellow sound, while the sustain pedal provides luxurious, thick harmonies. The sostenuto pedal is especially useful when you play complex music, allowing you to keep a note sounding while you reach for another key.
Inspire your playing with 26 different sounds. The DP-7 includes great-sounding piano voices, plus electric pianos, organs and strings sounds. The voices can be tweaked to your exact specifications, using EQ, chorus and reverb presets. There's also a transposing function, so you take a song you want to learn and move it into an easier key to play.
Great for playing live and in the studio. The DP-7 comes with a range of connection options. Plug the jack AUX output into an amp or PA system, while the AUX input lets you can play along to music from your phone or sound system. There's also two headphone outputs, which is ideal for silent practicing. You can also record your own compositions via the USB-to-host connection, which works with both Mac and PC.
