Wavetable VCO

The Wavetable VCO delivers rich, powerful sounds in a compact VCO that is equipped with over sixteen banks of selected waves, from FM and classical synthesizers, to Erica modular synths as well as vowels and many more. The Black Wavetable VCO a built in VCA and wave-morphing function to provide beautiful sonic characteristics.

VCO

The VCO is the latest edition of the Black series VCO. This analogue module features four simultaneous waveform outputs, as well as a single -1 octave down sub-oscillator output. The Black VCO is based around a famous Russian synthesizer VCO, utilising the same original matched transistor IC in its exponential converter.

Modulator

The Modulator can be used for modulation, and as a noise source. This fully analogue module consists of an LFO capable of audio frequency as well, with three independent waveform outputs that can be used simultaneously. The Black Modulator also features a Zener diode-based noise generator, with three separate noise types: White, Pink, and Crushed noise.

Mixer

The Mixer delivers exceptional audio quality in a compact 6HP modular format. Its also equipped with three independent buffered outputs, enabling you to route signals to a variety of different signal processing devices at the same time. The three inputs are AC couples, and both inputs and outputs are protected.

Multimode VCF

The Multimode VCF is a 24db multimode filter featuring low pass, high pass and band pass that are simultaneous. The Erica Synths VCF is fitted with robust, black attenuators for CV control of cutoff and resonance. Conveniently, the VCF provides gain compensation as the resonance is increased to provide you with static volume when adjusting resonance.

Polivoks VCF

The Polivoks VCF V2 is a voltage-controlled filter based on the famous Russian synthesizer's filter circuitry. It is one of the most authentic sounding emulations of this filter circuitry, using the original Russian ICs K140UD12 in its sound circuit.

Quad VCA

The Quad VCA uses Erica Synths' custom pre-emphasis - de-emphasis circuitry, which is designed to preserve every little nuance and detail of the original signal. With configurable CV addressing and auto-mixing outputs, the Black Quad VCA is a powerful and versatile VCA module that can perform as a signal mixer when no CV is applied.

Output Module

The Output Module implements stereo panning and balanced stereo outputs, alongside a premium-grade headphone amplifier. Equipped with three separately buffered inputs, the Black Output Module provides you with the ability to independently adjust the signal level of each input, as well as manually adjust the panning of inputs 1 and 2.

MIDI-CV Interface

The MIDI-CV is a duophonic MIDI interface including dual CV and gate outputs as well as a MIDI clock output. The module features a configurable MOD output, which can be used for both a modulation wheel or velocity control. The Erica Synths MIDI-CV v2 features analog glide on both of the MIDI channel, accompanied by a one or two voice switch for added flexibility.

CV Tools

CV Tools is a fully analog CV and audio processing module designed for use with externa modules. You can use the CV Tools module to process a variety of signals, ideal for mixing, offsetting, wave-shaping, scaling and more. The versatile design provides you with multiple configurations which you can access via the jumpers on the rear of the module.

XFade

XFade provides you with the ability to crossfade between two audio or CV signals in a smooth, natural way. This can be done both manually, or with CV. The XFade uses a fade curve that is precisely calculated in a way that prevents the loss of signal amplitude in any crossfade stage. The module is also equipped with LEDs that provide visual feedback on the currently active input.

Dual EG/LFO

The Dual EG/LFO gives you access to two unique LFOs that are feature-rich, plus two complete ADSR (attack/decay/sustain/release) envelope generators, all in a single 10HP module. This compact unit enables you to adjust the envelopes either one by one, or both at the same time.

Octasource

Octasource is an incredibly detailed and intuitive LFO module. Featuring a variety of waveform options, the Octasouce can be set to use one of the eight available waveforms on 8 outputs phase-shifted by 45 degrees, or use all eight waveforms simultaneously on all of the outputs. You can use CV to control the LFO rate, waveform selection, and phase shift, as well as syncing the LFO rate to an external clock signal.

EG (Enveloper Generator)

The Black EG is a compact analog enveloper generator with unique features such as gated loop and gated delay parameters. The simple yet intuitive design features a full ADSR envelope with four large potentiometers. It stands out from the crowd with its distinct looping capabilities. The loop and gate delays are ideal for creating acid basslines and slower drones.

Stereo Delay

The Black Stereo Delay is a unique DSP-driven stereo delay designed in collaboration with Tim Pechersky from Useful Circuits. The Black Stereo Delay module provides you with a range of delay settings and styles including tape, digital and ping-pong modes. There is even a unique reverse delay mode, providing surreal style build ups.

Joystick Controller

The Joystick Controller is a versatile Eurorack utility module that allows features a range of CV connectivity. The Erica Synths Joystick Controller is ideal as keystone in your modular setup, acting as a command centre of your signals, generating several sets of CVs, as well as changing incoming CV signals. The Erica Joystick acts the epicentre for your setup, generating CV signals with 10 patch points in total.
