The Expert Sleepers Amelia Envelope Generator features a unique ADBR (attack, decay, break, release) configuration designed with sequencing in mind. Using 'Break' mode, the envelope is triggered by a pulse on the 'Gate' input, with the 'Break' rotary control determining the envelope's fall rate (set by the Release knob and CV).
A multi-purpose tool for sound design, the Amelia Envelope Generator features four main rotary knobs for attack, decay, break and release parameters. Two smaller knobs dictate the shape of the attack and decay/release portions of the envelope for added control. The module also features two switches, with one controlling the mode of operation and the lower switch setting the time range.
When the envelope is set to 'auto-trigger', the module is transformed into a complex voltage-controlled LFO for expanded modulation options. You can utilise a range of different attack and decay/release shapes with can be continually adjusted ranging from exponential to logarithmic. When used alongside sequencers, Amelia allows you to create a variety of flexible envelope shapes from a simple trigger signal, opening up new possibilities to experiment with sequencing.
