Unlock massive sound capabilities. The PC4 is designed to help you explore new territories of sound design. The V.A.S.T provides very wide polyphony - up to 256 voices. Meaning you can create incredible pads with huge depth. There are two gigabytes worth of memory, which provide you with a range of amazing presets to get you started. There are over 1000 - and you can expand on them later. These include piano, electronic piano, organ, brass, and a glut of synths and pads. It also has drum and percussion samples.

Incredible speed

In order to access all of these amazing sounds quickly, the PC4 comes with flash-play which gives you a huge amount of horse-power. It allows you to access the two gigabytes of sample content with zero-loading time. This is incredibly useful when scrolling through sounds or when you need to quickly change the style during onstage performances.

Deep native editing

If you want to go even deeper with your sound design then look no further than V.A.S.T editing. Standing for variable architecture synthesis technology, it is accessible directly through the synthesizer's front panel. It provides you with all the scope you need to edit and create patches. It features 32 layers per program, each offering a unique signal path and a host of modular DSP tools. The PC4 offers a wealth of sound creation and modification.

Powerful emulation

If acoustic instruments are more your thing then the KB3 ToneReal Organs and the Kurzweil String Resonance provide you with incredible 'real-world' instrument emulation. The organs are modelled after classic designs and work beautifully with the tone wheel. The K.S.R provides you with very realistic piano modelling - perfectly capturing the resonance and organic liveliness of a piano.

Incredible effects

The PC4 includes a massive selection of effects. Each one is as incredible sounding and powerful as the last. These include reverbs, delays, choruses, flangers, phasers, distortions, rotary amplifiers, compressors and more. They can all be edited too, helping you shape your sound to perfection. And in order to get the most from your sounds, you can implement three-band equalisation and compression.
