Key Features
Create limitless sounds. The Tape and Microsound Music Machine music synthesiser is made up of multiple Make Noise modules. Building on the success of the Phonogene, the Morphagene provides an innovative way to sample and process audio. Every parameter on the Morphagene Module is voltage controlled for optimal audio performance.
After the audio has been recorded through the Morphagene comes the Mimeophon. The Mimeophon repeats the recorded audio and can further manipulate your sound using various echo and modulation techniques. Combined with the Quad Peak Animation System (QPAS), you can achieve incredible stereo audio.
Wogglebug and Maths work to further enhance these effects. Incredibly musical, the Wogglebug is a complete random voltage generation system. Maths allows you to combine up to four control signals. These can be used to apply effects to control voltages or to modulate the audio in every direction imaginable. Once the whole journey is complete, the XOH provides a final stereo mix for monitoring and/or performance. If creating complex sounds is your thing, you won't be disappointed.

The Morphagene bases its design on the same principle as the Phonogene, providing you with a range of tools and parameters, and allowing you to splice audio as well as re-arrange and create new sounds. The Morphagene uses Reels, Splices and Genes to create new sounds and manipulate existing sounds. The innovative design allows you to search between notes to find hidden sounds, resulting in something totally original from an existing sound.
This takes sampling and audio manipulation to the next level, giving you the ability to create sounds on the fly, ideal for live performances as well as studio work. Recorded audio can be spliced and rearranged using the Organize parameter. From there you can change the speed and direction of the sound with the Vari-Speed section.
The Morphagene combines multiple modules from Make Noise to create this monstrous powerhouse that provides the perfect way to experiment with sound. Each parameter features voltage control, which allows you to easily dial in the required amount, ensuring optimal audio quality and performance value. As well as being able to splice and re-arrange sounds, the Morphagene also includes a built-in granulizer in the form of the Gene-Size and Slide parameter. Further manipulation options include the ability to Slide, Layer or Stagger Genes using the MORPH function. You can also manipulate and process sound in real-time using the Time Lag Accumulation parameter.
With a vast range of parameters and audio processing tools, the Morphagene also boasts versatile connectivity including Stereo I/O with Auto Input Leveling for added flexibility. It also features an integrated 24-bit codec that allows you to create 48kHz/32-bit WAV files for optimal audio fidelity. You can import and manipulate sounds directly from an SD card.
The recording reel on the Morphagene can last for up to 87 seconds at its peak, and you can record up to 99 splices per reel. Once you have recorded your reels, you can back them up onto a computer using the SD card. The wide range of inputs opens up a whole new world of manipulation with dedicated inputs for each specific tool.
The Mimeophon combines multiple ways to interact with your source audio. The multi-purpose module is not just a stereo delay and repeater module, it provides endless possibilities for sound design and audio manipulation.
The Repeat control acts as you might have assumed, setting the feedback and delay rate of your source audio. The Colour control is great for morphing the tonality of your sound, helping to brighten or darken the tone dependent on the setting. The Rate control dictates the delay time, allowing you to sweep freely between settings. The flexible 'Zone' control provides a wide range of sonic possibilities, allowing you to set the range of the delay times.
One of the more prominent features is the spatalisation controls. Using the Skew control, you can offset the left and right channels of the stereo output, resulting in different lengths. This creates a stereo-like effect that delivers a wider sound.
The highly unique Halo control works by adding a smear of sound to the repeats, effectively blurring the sound and adding depth. The Flip control works by reversing the buffer for interesting timbral results. You can also use the Hold control to capture the current buffer, which you can then use the Halo and Colour control to change the Zone and Rate parameters.
The Make Noise WoggleBug is a complete random voltage generation system. Providing "smooth" and "stepped" fluctuating random voltage sources, the WoggleBug also features Woggle CVs. These Woggle CVs are stepped voltages with decaying sinusoid edges. The module is equipped with two VCOs, a Phase Lock Loop, Lag Processor, Internal Clock, Burst Generator, and Sample & Hold capabilities. It's able to generate up to seven random simultaneous signals, and overtake the control voltages produced by your keyboard or sequencer during performances.
The Make Noise Maths Analog Computer is a versatile Eurorack module that provides a wide range of ways to create effects and modulation controls. The Maths Analog Computer allows you to generate a variety of linear, logarithmic, or exponential trigger or continuous functions. You can even use these functions with no signal applied for maximum flexibility.
With the Maths Analog Computer you can add or subtract up to four signals, as well as generating analog signals from digital information such as a Gate or Clock module. You can also generate digital information from analog signals and Delay digital information. The Voltage Controlled Envelope and/or LFO can be slowed to 25 minutes, or as a fast a 1kHz for added versatility.
The comprehensive design and premium-grade components allow you to create and utilise a wide range of effects. You can apply Lag, Slew or Portamento effects to control voltage, as well as being able to change the depth of modulation and modulate backwards. You can even combine up to four controls signals to create more complex modulations, for virtually endless possibilities.
The Make Noise Maths Module gives you the ability to integrate incoming signals, as well as intitiate musical events upon sensing motion in the system. Musical events such as changing the Tempo can be triggered on command. Musical note division and/or Flam is also achievable thanks to the versatile controls.
The robust yet stylish design, incorporates a circuit-board like design, with clearly annotated connections including modulation controls. There are 26 patch points in total for optimal versatility when it comes to connecting external equipment. The module itself measures at 20HP, with every connections and parameter clearly annotated. It even features useful graphics that suggest where you can route your connections.
Any electrical items in your order may have been designed to work with a 240V circuit, using a United Kingdom G type plug connection or a 220V circuit, using an EU plug connection. An adapter or transformer may be required for these items to work properly and safely in your country. Some items work with a range of voltages, or have a switchable voltage control built in.
