The UDO Desktop Super 6 is the desktop module version made to provide access to the innovative Super 6 sound to a wider audience. It features a special Super 6 mode that can split the 12 voices and create expressive stereo images. The fully analog signal path features FPGA-generated digital oscillators and the modulation is clocked at 40 Hz for smooth transitioning. This polyphonic synthesizer features 12 voices and is immediately responsive to the synthesis process.
With new features such as polychaining with an original Super 6 unit, as well as drift control, pan spread control, independent high-pass filter control, advanced envelopes and polyphonic aftertouch, this desktop unit provides unprecedented expression through synthesis. As a desktop unit, the Super 6 has now become an option for any synthesist who desires its cutting-edge sound profile. With its polychain ability, the desktop unit can also act as an expansion for an existing Super 6 keyboard synthesiser, expanding its binaural voice count to 12 and standard stereo voice count to a staggering 24. With MPE support on the way in a future update, and expanded features like polyphonic aftertouch, the Super 6 Desktop truly builds on the success of its predecessor.
12 voiced and versatile
The UDO super six contains a massive 12 voices. Ideal for creating powerful sound design. It works great when produces pads and leads but this versatile synth is also great for anything from basses to plucks. It's a sound design beast. These voices can be split to produce highly potent stereo images. The Super 6 simply astounds when it comes to sound design.
In depth sound design
The sound profile of this synthesizer is sure to impress. It features two powerful oscillators that span a range of waveforms and an impressive filter - this can be routed to the envelopes and the LFO too. The LFO is simple to use and creates an immediately impressive modulation. You can modulate with sawtooth, square, random, and triangle waveforms.
Fully analog and FPGA powered
The fully analog signal path gives you that genuine synthesizer sound. Allowing you to create incredibly organic and really warm textures. The sound, however, comes from an exceptionally mighty FGPA chip. Which produces a massive sound. The road this sound travels down is analog and adds nuanced warmth to the characteristics.
