Class D amplifiers are incredible. Unlike Class AB circuitry they only deliver power when necessary, switching on and off in multiple instances per second. This is excellent for reducing power losses from output devices which can lead to greater heat. Thanks to Class D technology, Behringer no longer require massive heat sinks, making their products much lighter as a result. The USB connector on the rear panel is designed to accommodate the 2.4GHz wireless receiver dongle that comes supplied with Behringer's ULTRALINK wireless microphones.
