What is class-D technology?
Class D amplifiers are incredible. Unlike Class AB circuitry
they only deliver power when necessary, switching on and off in
multiple instances per second. This is excellent for reducing power
losses from output devices which can lead to greater heat. Thanks
to Class D technology mixers like this no longer require massive
heat sinks, making their products much lighter. This no-compromise
design ensures that all products featuring Class D technology will
provide you with amazing fidelity and continuous power without rest
cycles.
Sublimely musical British EQ
British mixing consoles are renowned for their analog warmth and
unique sonic qualities. Behringer have meticulously studied and
incorporated the same style circuitry on the PMP500's three band
channel EQ, providing incredible warmth and detailed musical
character. Even when applied generously, these equalizers exhibit
sweet forgiveness and superb audio quality.
Feedback-free
The Behringer brand continue to work on providing you with the
purest sound possible. The result of their labour is a
revolutionary feedback detection system. This allows you to
identify and alter feedback frequencies or resonances as soon as
they arise. Once feedback is recognised by the system, the LED on
the associated fader will light up. Simply lower that fader and
feedback will be instantly eliminated.
KLARK TEKNIK integration
The PMP500 features the world-renowned KLARK TEKNIK FX
processor. This enables you to take your mixes to the next level
thanks to the inclusion of the high quality 24-bit processor. Feel
free to sculpt your sonic vision or simply add the final touches to
your mix. The processor includes 100 studio-grade presets including
reverb, chorus, delay, flange and echo. All of which have dual
addressable parameters, tape function and storable user parameter
settings. Don't settle for anything but the best thanks to
Behringer.
One-knob compression
The ''one-knob'' compression function is available on all mono
channels and allows you to dial in the perfect amount of
compression for both instruments and vocals. Delivering powerful
mixes with punch and clarity, the ''one-knob'' compression is easy
to operate and a rare feature for mixers within this price
range.
