You use your laptop for everything, so why not for your lighting as well? With the Cameo DVC PRO Interface, you can operate DMX-compatible light units straight from you PC or Mac. All you need is the free intuitive and user-friendly Cameo DMX software by Daslight and you are ready to sit down and get your lights going.
In live mode, the plug-and-play interface provides a staggering 1,024 DMX channels for complete freedom of control. When in standalone mode without a computer you still have 256 channels to play with. Programmed light shows can even be copied to the interface's integrated Flash memory so that you will always have your creations readily at your fingertips.
Everything you need
You're completely set with the free Cameo software package that comes with the DVC Interface. Containing over 15,000 device libraries you can be as creative and complex as you want with your lighting. You even have access to ScanLibrary editor where you can create and edit yout own device profiles. You are able to select individual DMX devices and place them in groups and added to a 2D view of the light show. Go for big and bold - dynamic scenes can easily be created, arranged, and placed over each other. The XEEL engine even gives you access to hundreds of wide-ranging, exciting effects. Complex light shows have never been so simple.
And that's not all. The software includes a comprehensive toolbox for live editing. Use the audio analyser and MIDI clock to synchronise your light show with the music. Really get your performance going, the audience won't be able to step away. You can even get a 3D visualisation of the programmed light show in real time. You are always in control, no matter how busy the floor you will know exactly what your lighting is doing.
You can customise the screen layout to your liking and individual needs. Make it easy for yourself. Use the free Easy Remote app to facilitate remote control with your iPhone, iPad, and Android devices via Wi-Fi for extra convenience. The DVC PRO's built-in Wi-Fi access point also means that no external peripherals are needed.
Don't worry about setting it up
There's nothing complicated about the DVC PRO Interface. It features a USB-C port for input on one side and a 3-channel DMX output on the other. The DMX output is supplied with power from the computer's USB output. Simple. Three clear buttons occupy the top of the device. An uncomplicated and accessible way to facilitate program selection and dimming when in standalone mode. This requires a standard retail 5 V USB power adaptor, however.
