Authentic analog tone with built-in character
Assembler isn’t a sterile summing box; it’s built to add life to your sound. Drawing inspiration from the rich character of classic vintage mixers, its signal path includes custom-designed Pittsburgh Modular circuitry for analog tape saturation and dynamic signal contouring. These elements combine to give your mix natural cohesion, subtle compression, and the kind of warmth and depth typically found in much more expensive analog desks. The result is a better-sounding mix, whether you’re working with pristine digital synths, gritty modular signals, or everything in between.
A mixer designed for modular and synth workflows
Assembler’s ten audio inputs are split across three channel types, designed to accommodate the needs of modular users, synth collectors, and DAW-free setups. The two Complex Mono Channels include analog EQ with ±15 dB boost/cut, pan, mute, three-segment LED metering, and assignable cue monitoring. Four Standard Mono Channels offer the same control, minus EQ, while two Stereo Channels provide rich gain, pan, and aux send control for stereo instruments or effects returns.
All ten channels feature up to 20x gain, allowing Assembler to handle both Eurorack and line-level sources with ease. This means you can plug your entire modular rig, drum machines, or synths straight in—no external preamps needed.
Aux sends and returns for creative FX routing
Three assignable post-fader aux sends offer a wealth of routing options. Whether you're blending in delay, layering reverb, or sending signals to outboard gear, Assembler gives you stereo and mono aux returns with individual gain controls and analog warmth. Use them for effects, sub-mixes, or even self-patching back into the system for experimental sound design techniques. The returns feature up to 2.7x gain, giving you ample headroom and clarity when bringing signals back into the mix.
Ready for the studio or the road
Built with a solid metal chassis and clear layout, Assembler is designed to be as rugged as it is accessible. All controls follow a one-knob-per-function principle, eliminating hidden menus or confusing shift functions. Independent main and cue output levels make it perfect for live performance, allowing artists to audition and prep sounds on headphones without affecting the main mix.
Assembler runs equally well as a standalone desktop unit or as a 40hp Eurorack module. When installed in a modular case, it draws power from the standard +12V/-12V rails and offers full functionality. For those using it standalone, a power supply is included in the box.
Clean, creative control for synth enthusiasts
Assembler doesn't clutter your workflow with digital menus or unnecessary extras. Instead, it focuses on sound, usability, and flexibility. You get a full analog mixing experience tuned for modular and electronic instruments, with just enough saturation to unify your mix, and just enough control to take it wherever you want. From vintage tone shaping to hands-on FX routing and detailed cue mixing, Assembler gives you everything you need to craft complex, cohesive mixes that feel alive—without breaking the bank or your back.
