Key Features
The Vermona DRM1 MKIV is an analog drum machine that features eight instruments that combine each specific part of a traditional drumkit to create your sound. Inspired by vintage analog drum machines, the DRM1 MKIV boasts 73 parameters such as attack, decay, reverb and more to give you a hands-on approach to sculpt, shape and modify your sound to fit your music as best as it can. A creative tool that wants to be used as an instrument, the DRM1 MKIV removes the need for any deep menu-diving and puts the sounds at your fingertips to inspire creativity.
Building from the success of the predecessor, the MKIV continues the rich lineage of the DRM1 and adds modern elements to make it a must-have for your studio and live performing rig. Carefully tweaking frequency ranges and revamping control curves make the DRM1 MKIV the most in-depth drum synthesizer available today.
This version of the DRM1 MKIV comes complete with 10 trigger inputs on the rear of the unit, allowing you to control the drum machine using sequencers, pads and more. The DRM1 MKIV trigger inputs can now convert analog signals into MIDI notes via USB or the newly added MIDI OUT connection, making your DRM1 MKIV an incredibly versatile MIDI interface with easy integration into your studio. Whether you're controlling the DRM1 MKIV via a DAW, a hardware sequencer, or a modular system, you'll have the proper connection and the ability to send the MIDI notes to additional devices, making it an integral part of your setup.
