Das Audio Altea 718A 18" Active Subwoofer Overview
The Das Audio Altea 718A is an active subwoofer that's ideal for installation in live venues, or travelling with touring bands or DJs. Offering a powerful, articulate low-end to any live performance, the 718A features intelligent design to improve its performance. Its large 18-inch woofer features an FEM optimised design with an extended voice coil to increase clarity of sound and its throw, to fill any space.
The Altea 718A's enclosure features a lot of innovative features to help enhance its performance while remaining passive. A vented speaker pole mount allows the 718 to regulate temperature and cool for more reliable use. This subwoofer's back plate features apertures that help prevent power compression and ensure that its acoustic output is consistent and high throughout any show. This active version of the 718A also offers DSP features, like adjustable voicing modes to help you create the perfect sound for your space.
