A 12'' high-excursion woofer and triple 1'' titanium diaphragm compression driver array are housed inside a rugged 15mm plywood cabinet. The cabinet is internally braced, providing optimal acoustic performance. The unique design of the cabinet allows you to create a powerful array system with multiple DRM12A loudspeakers and DRM18S subwoofers. You can configure up to four of these cabinets plus two subwoofers, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of venues and applications. Flexible Arrayable Design
Maximise your sound. With the Mackie DRM12A-P, you can create an incredibly powerful array using multiple DRM12A loudspeakers either on their own, or in combination with DRM18S subwoofers. These powerful arrays can be suspended from above, or stacked on the ground using Mackie's optional FB100 Flyware Kit.
When using a ground stack consisting purely of DRM12As, you can stack a maximum of three loudspeakers together on top of the FB100 Flybar. This configuration utilises the Ground Stack Foot, removing the need to stack your speakers on top of a DRM18S subwoofer. You can also create a ground stack using either one or two DRM18Ss as a base, with a maximum of three DRM12A loudspeakers on top. This configuration doesn't require the use of the flybar.
The flybar can also be used to create a suspended array. The bar features a selection of holes for suspending the array at a variety of angles, allowing you to aim your array with ease. The suspended array can consist of up to a maximum of two DRM18S subwoofers and four DRM12A loudspeakers, or a maximum of four DRM12A loudspeakers on their own (Working Load Limits should not be exceeded). With this intelligent design, you can build a system with incredibly powerful capabilities that can handle almost any situation you throw at it.
