Large and tactile jog wheels

Take control of your mix with two large jog wheels. These 5.5" jog wheels help you mix with precision thanks to their very tactile feedback. These decks make up the central focus of the four-channel club-standard layout with identical deck design. This also includes 4-channel mixer, long pitch faders, and dual deck control - meaning you've never been so close to the mix. And if that's not enough - the jog wheels also illuminate to give you visual feedback, for example on the deck selection.

Shape your sound to perfection

All the best mixers feature equalisation of some sort. The S3 comes with three-band EQs - these allow you to shape your sound when mixing in tunes. Whether that's dropping out the bass when another tracks kick comes in or filtering out the highs before a drop. The responsive and tactile controls mean you can rely on the accuracy of Traktor's EQ system.

Amazing effects

To get most out of your DJ performances you can use effects to add flair to your sets. These effects range from echo, reverb, filtering, and beat-skips - all provided from the Traktor software. These effects are triggered using the instant one-knob FX and filter control. This gives you the response you need to dial in effects perfectly. You can choose from eight FX and three filter types - meaning you'll never be stuck for choice.

Trigger hotcues and more

By using the 16 RGB pads on the front of the unit - can trigger one-shots, loops, samples. These tough pads add a nice performative edge to your DJ sets. They can also be used to trigger hotcues - meaning you can quickly jump between parts of a track to mix in different parts at will.

High-quality coiled cable

The Pioneer HDJ-X5 headphones come complete with a high quality 1.2m coiled cable, with an extended length of 1.8m, and equipped with an L-type mine-jack connection. The cable is constructed using an independent ground wire in a 4-core twisted-structure, resulting in astonishing stereo channel separation.

This incredible sound quality comes from excellent conductivity from a consistent structure, and ensures that you get the best signal reaching your headphones. The HDJ-X5 headphones ensure precise sound with incredible clarity, making monitoring and listening both easy and enjoyable.
