Neumann MCM 114 Miniature Clip Mic System, Stereo Piano Set Overview
This Neumann MCM 114 Miniature Clip Mic System is designed for close-miking piano - for either live performance or studio recording. It comes with two KK 14 condenser capsules, which have ultra-consistent sensitivity and tonality, making them ideal for capturing a clear and natural sound. Plus, they can capture high SPLs up to 153dB, so you will feel that there's no limit to what they can take.
The included magnetic clip mounts the microphone's gooseneck inside a piano and allows you to get the perfect miking position in a stereo pair. There are two 3.5mm jacks included, but these cables are interchangeable for three different types. In fact, the whole system is modular, so you are able to buy and change out different components with ease - such as the mount type itself.
