This Neumann MCM 114 Miniature Clip Mic System is designed for close-miking woodwind - for either live performance or studio recording. The KK 14 condenser capsule has ultra-consistent sensitivity and tonality, making it ideal for capturing a clear and natural sound from any instrument. Plus, it can capture high SPLs up to 153dB, so you will feel that there's no limit to what it can take.
The included mount straps onto woodwind instruments, like snares or timpani, making it easy to attach the microphone's gooseneck and get the perfect miking position. There's a 3.5mm jack included, but the cable is interchangeable for three different types. In fact, the whole system is modular, so you are able to buy and change out different components with ease - such as the mount type itself.
