Key Features
The RCF SUB 905-AS MK3 is a powerful subwoofer with a cutting-edge 15-inch woofer and a bass reflex housing for punchy, extended bass. Its 2200 W Class D amplifier gives it a great deal of power, with a maximum SPL of 133 dB. Additional internal protection and all-new features include thermal and RMS limiting, as well as a soft audio limiter for consistency and clipping prevention.
The SUB 905-AS MK3 features an onboard stereo crossover with switchable frequencies for precise integration with any sound system, and a wider image. And for further control over your sound fidelity, it also offers volume, EQ, and phase controls. Built from rugged plywood, this cabinet will last through any shows or tours that come its way. Its RCF Precision Transducer is unique and industry-leading with an exceptionally lightweight, optimal magnetic flux, and a balanced, clear, distortion-free sound.
Product Ref: 279230
Boasting RCF's Precision Transducer design, the SUB 905 has an extremely lightweight woofer with an exceptionally clear, accurate, and full frequency response with detailed transients. Its ceramic magnet flux is absolutely maximised with a 3-inch voice coil.
This subwoofer offers internal DSP features allowing for adjusted time delay to fire in time with speakers. It also includes a cardioid mode to help focus your low-end and prevent feedback from microphones on-stage picking up its signal.
Class D amplification makes for a more lightweight, efficient subwoofer that can maximise its output volume. Delivering up to 2200 W of peak power, the SUB 905-AS MK3 gains up to 133 dB of maximum SPL. Combined with RCF's Bass Motion Control technology, the woofer's motion is kept reasonable in spite of the amplifier's immense power, resulting in a consistent, linear, and loud low-end that resists clipping.
A good subwoofer should be able to endure challenging conditions, and RCF have built their new range to do just that. More lightweight and easy to carry thanks to their lighter amplification and ergonomic grips, these subwoofers can be stacked and stored easily. An M20 threaded pole mount lets you mount full-range speakers on top of the sub for easy arrays too. Its tough plywood cabinet with a polyurea coating and powder-coated grille resists corrosion and impact damage. Sound foam behind the grille protects internal circuitry from dust or humidity damage, and its front-venting ports make them suitable for use in recessed positions.
