Within the AVX system sits the robust SKM handheld microphone. Acting as the transmitter for the set, the microphone reduces background noise when used in loud environments and is ideal for a multitude of purposes such as street interviews. The AVX-835 features a self-configuring digital transmission which eliminates time-consuming setups. Like all AVX components, the Sennheiser microphone adapts perfectly to your camera's input sensitivity so you don't need to alter the levels yourself.

EKP AVX receiver

The EKP receiver is ultra-compact and plugs directly into the XLR audio input of your camera or recording device. The receiver by Sennheiser may also be connected to DSLRs with the included mini-jack adaptor. Like all components within the AVX wireless system, the receiver was designed to cut down on time-consuming setups and the self-configuring digital transmission features achieve this goal. In order to save battery power, the EKP AVX receiver automatically switched on and off in relation to your camera.

The Sennheiser AVX-ME2 guarantees perfectly levelled sound, no matter whether the recording environment is very quiet or extremely loud. The AVX matches perfectly to the camera's input sensitivity without having to adjust the audio level on the microphone by hand - delivering a flawless performance every time.

Plug and record

The AVX is compatible with most cameras and recording device. Powered by phantom power, you can simply plug the AVX into the XLR audio input. By utilizing phantom power, the receiver switches on and off automatically with the camera, allowing it to be instantly ready to record and saving battery power when the camera is turned off.

The AVX works faster than the human ear. Before any interference becomes audible, the receiver automatically selects the best operating frequency and switches to a clean channel. This means that no matter what happens - perfect audio transmission between the microphone and camera is guaranteed.
