Bi-Amplified Design with Flagship DSP
Discrete and perfectly-matched. The TITAN AX15 is equipped with two Class-D power amplifiers. One each for the LF and HF transducers, providing a total power figure of 420W(RMS)/840W(Peak). Their topology allows you to deliver consistent power with the ability to handle transients for an exceptional dynamic range. The loudspeaker also features a new DSP engine, giving you access to a powerful collection of speaker management functions. From limiting and compression, to crossover control and equalisation, the TITAN AX15's DSP guarantee's crystal-clear sound reproduction and phenomenal performance. The DSP can be utilised through the six built-in presets for a wide variety of applications - Monitor, Speech, Bass, Punch, and Live. Each mode is optimised for their respective uses, with Live mode applying different settings to each of the two inputs. No matter where you are or what your performance consists of, the Wharfedale Pro TITAN AX15 gives you powerful options for sonic versatility.
Intuitive Integrated Mixing
In the rear panel of your TITAN loudspeaker, you can find an integrated two-channel mixer. With the first channel, you can switch between mic and line-level inputs for use with a variety of devices and equipment. Plus, with a balanced XLR output, you can send the mix out to other mixers, monitors, speakers and more.
Proven Cabinet Design
Performance you can rely on. The TITAN AX15 combines powerful technology with a familiar cabinet design. An organically-shaped composition with an internal laminar flow rib pattern and polypropylene construction provides phenomenal sound with outstanding portability. Perfectly-suited to mobile applications, the TITAN AX15 is ideal for use as a main PA speaker, in an array, or as a high-performance wedge monitor. Plus, with a versatile selection of mounting options, including ten M8 threaded inserts (four of which are bottom-mounted in an OmniMount® bracket footprint) for rigging and an integrated 35mm pole receptacle, you can install your loudspeaker in any venue with ease.
Thunderous Low-Frequency Transducer
Colossal sound with incredible reliability. Every TITAN series loudspeaker has been meticulously-crafted to give you the best possible sonic performance for any application. At the heart of the AX15, you'll find one of Wharfedale Pro's custom-made 15'' LF transducers. Made in-house, this high-performance driver boasts a massive 3'' voice coil. Combined with a rigid steel basket and intelligent design, the TITAN AX15 ensures smooth reproduction of mid and low-frequencies whilst distortion is kept to an absolute minimum. Plus, with the ability to deliver a maximum SPL of 129dB, you'll have plenty of volume for any event.
IRIS X Compression Driver
Proprietary technology for outstanding performance. The IRIS X Compression Driver in each TITAN loudspeaker has been intelligently-designed with an increased coil radius and electrical sensitivity. Heat is dissipated evenly during long periods of use at high levels, whilst the driver itself is able to convert as much electrical power into high-quality sound output as is physically-possible. Thanks to the efficiency of IRIS X technology, you can take advantage of much higher sound pressure levels with dramatically-reduced distortion. Made in-house by Wharfedale Pro themselves, IRIS X Compression Drivers are purpose-built to reproduce high-frequencies with phenomenal quality and reliability.
