Elegant design

The MAUI 28 G3 has been designed for more elegance. It has a column placed to the front for a more seamless design and an ultra-tough impact-resistant polyurea coating. This means it will look the part while also going the distance as you take it from venue to venue each night.

The column section has also been redesigned for improved stability. It has reinforced aluminium parts as well as an ultra-stable column plug-in system. The column sections also have hidden integrated handles, so they are easy to transport.

Deep and powerful bass

With a new acoustic design for its sub, the MAUI 28 G3 is able to produce even more powerful and deeper bass. With an optimised ellipsoidal bass-reflex port combined with a 12" subwoofer, it can achieve bass all the way down to 37 Hz.

Constant Horizontal Directivity

The MAUI 28 G3 ensures constant horizontal directivity using new optimised midrange phase plugs. This results in increased sensitivity below the crossover point and less harmonic distortion. Plus the two high-frequency drivers are custom designed, with an optimized neodymium motor, and can deliver more high-frequency energy to distant audience members with the curved waveguide.

Add more bass with a follow subwoofer

If you need more sub power, you can use an additional MAUI 28 G3 sub as a "follower". The subwoofer is able to automatically detect it is in follower mode when the columns aren't attached. This allows you to get a +6dB increase of low-end response.

You can also combine two subs to create a cardioid setup where more power is delivered to the front, with higher quality. The first benefit of this is less reflections from the walls resulting in less interference and higher sound quality. It also delivers a cleaner sound on stage so there is less risk of feedback. And less sound behind leads to there being less hearing fatigue for DJs.

Minimalist back panel

Control the MAUI 28 G3 with ease thanks to the minimalistic user panel. This is designed to be headache-free and is ideal for DJs who don't need many inputs. There are controls for the subwoofer and main volume, a cardioid mode on/off toggle, and a Bluetooth linking button. Plus the MAUI 28 G3 automatically detects when the columns aren't connected and will change the subwoofer to follower mode.
