ART SPLITMix4 - Four Channel Passive Splitter/Mixer Overview

The ART SPLITMix4 is a versatile passive hybrid mixer and splitter, that you can use to route stereo and mono audio signals in multiple configurations. Primarily equipped for two main roles as a mixer or a splitter, the SPLITMix4 has a single input for the splitter and output for the mixer in the form of TRS jacks, that subsequently interact with four TRS connectors each. Four splitter outputs send audio signals to multiple monitoring systems from the splitter input, and four mixer inputs combine send signals from equipment to a single source jack output like any other traditional mixer, each channel has its own independent gain attenuator. Each channel's gain control can achieve up to 90dB of attenuation.

You can also combine the mixer and splitter for ultimate signal path mapping, and intelligent switching technology automatically maps your audio signals through the SPLITMix4, depending on which inputs you use and whether you use stereo or mono cables. There are more than nine different ways to connect instruments, monitors and other important audio equipment are available. For example, you can connect up to four instruments, four audio monitoring systems, and a processing unit, and route them however you want by following directions in the manual.

The passive design negates the need for external power, allowing your audio signals to pass through the SPLITMix4 with complete purity, also keeping the module compact, simple, and easy to use.
