Designed to encompass every sound you could ever need, Boom Dirt Bikes features two main recording perspectives for each of the 19 bikes. Blend between Drive By and Onboard perspective as your scene requires, whereby Drive By features foley recordings of cornering, idling, starting and stopping and revving and has been captured using a range of recording techniques. These include close XY micing, a following mono shotgun mic, a distant stereo pair and a close mid/side setup with sample durations ranging between 7 to 70 seconds. Onboard perspective recordings provide you with two microphone locations on the engine and exhaust recording three driving speeds, idling, acceleration, starting and stopping and revving with samples ranging from 10 to 60 seconds.
Recorded with meticulous attention to detail, Boom Dirt Bikes was sampled with high-quality equipment at a stunning 96kHz sample rate at 24-bit quality.
